Organic Vapors Break-Through Indicator

The Organic Vapors Break-Through Indicator (“BTI” - PN: SAT-OV-BTI-198) is a qualitative (yes/no) colorimetric indicator for the saturation and end-of-service life of filters. The BTI is designed to provide real-time indication of the breakthrough of organic vapors. It is most suited for process-vent filters associated with distillation, thin-film evaporation, solvent extraction, waste containers and liquids transfers.

This indicator cannot detect basic organic compounds such as pyridines, aliphatic and aromatic amines.

If this indicator is going to be in a sunny location, a sun cover must be used to protect the integrity of the unit. This is sold separately. (PN: SAT-OV-BTI-198C)
